Announcements

  • Registration is open for 2023 Summer 2-Week (registration deadline extended to 6/15) and Fall classes, and all 2024 classes. The 2024 COSSO schedule is posted here. 
  • 2023 Winter through Summer 2-Week Course of Study classes will be offered fully online.
  • The 2023 Fall Course of Study term will meet in a split hybrid format— COS 121, 222, and 323 will meet in-person the first scheduled weekend (September 15-16) and COS 424 and 522 will meet in-person the second scheduled weekend (October 13-14) . Each class will meet on Zoom the weekend that it is not meeting in-person (likely times for the Zoom meetings will be Friday from 7-9 pm and Saturday from 9-11 am) and will have 6 hours of asynchronous work on Populi. A sample hybrid schedule from 2022 Fall is posted below. 
  • Many of you know that MTSO has required everyone on campus to be vaccinated for COVID-19. MTSO is planning to indefinitely suspend the COVID-19 vaccination requirement, starting this summer (if that policy changes, we will inform registered students and post an update here). MTSO will also post updated COVID-19 information on its website. We strongly recommend that everyone stay up to date with COVID vaccinations and boosters, as well as annual flu vaccinations. When on campus, we encourage mask wearing inside classrooms, the Centrum, and common spaces in buildings and will offer free KN95 masks. We also ask everyone to stay home from in-person activities when they are ill.
  • 2023 Fees: $80 Registration (per class); $300 Tuition (per class); $55 Housing (per hybrid weekend term)​.
  • We are reserving dorm rooms for 2023 Fall and 2024 Fall.
